IT STARTED WITH ONE NECKLACE.
Reece had worn baseball necklaces before, but there was one problem…they were made with elastic and they always seemed to break.
So he decided to make his own. Instead of elastic, Reece used 7-strand reinforced metal jewelry wire to create a necklace designed to hold up better while still bringing some serious game-day ice.
He made the first one for himself and it didn’t take long for other kids to notice. They started asking about his necklace, so Reece began making them for his teammates in different colors and designs. One necklace turned into a few, a few turned into more and the rest is history.
Of course, every good business needs a name. Reece’s dad has always been pretty good at coming up with catchy names and Reece’s Baseball Ice - RBI - was born.
Today, Reece creates handmade baseball necklaces for players who want to rep their team colors, show some personality and wear something built differently from the typical elastic baseball necklace.
